Kings Junction started as a café, home décor, giftware, indoor plant, gallery, that also provided classes in Art, Pottery, Cooking and Gardening. Through COVID we had to pivot to to ensure our business survived - and in the end it evolved to something very special indeed.
Today, we still provide our classes, workshops, catering and High Teas through pop-up events. We sell our merchandise through our online store. Our new division in media, marketing and communication has been very successful in supporting various businesses in NSW and ACT. In fact, Kylie has returned to where she started in Public Affairs with 16 years in the APS - so this is a rather natural fit for her.
So while the journey has had many steps, we have always moved forward to embrace our customers in these many aspects.
Kylie Johnson heads up this new division with more than 16 years of experience in Public Affairs, Branding, Project Management and Print Management.
Her recent work includes strategic planning, communication workshop facilitation, social media marketing, branding advice, corporate materials such as annual reports, strategic plans and more

'Had a lovely high tea at Kings Junction on Sunday (complete with real china cups!) - food was homely, fresh and delicious, just like a real traditional high tea should be. Our dietary issue (GF) was no problem. Staff were lovely, and the manager (Kylie) personally came over to introduce herself and see how everything was going. She's created a warm, welcoming, and relaxed little café. And as a bonus, the store also has some gorgeous and unique gifts/homewares to browse (and buy) afterwards! And they also host art classes and the like. What a great little addition to Bungendore'. Jill V 25 June 2022
